Employees may participate in Supplemental Insurance Plans such as cancer, disability, accident, etc. Employee Benefits must have the form no later the 5th of the month in order for the deduction to be removed or placed on the monthly payroll check that month.  For employees on bi-weekly payroll there is a payroll deadline every two weeks.  Supplemental insurance is available to employees who are eligible for one of the retirement plans.  The Employee Benefits Office cannot give advice on any particular plan. Employees are encouraged to contact the different agents when they have specific questions.
